We saw record numbers in Central Oregon this summer! It's all about Supply and Demand, and thus far we are experiencing lots of demand as builders have been working hard to keep up. I know what you are all thinking... "Is a bubble on the horizon?" I've heard mixed reviews and personally think that although we are seeing a slight softening in the market this fall, we will still see strong sales prices this coming year as Bend and Central Oregon continue to become "found" by those looking for the quality of life that is provided here.
With that said- fall, winter and early spring are excellent times for buyers to take advantage. Many people don't want to go house hunting or move during the holidays and cold weather, but for those hardy folks that don't care about a little snow, there is opportunity for a great find and some more negotiating leverage.
